short 2nd stay in this nice town.
Arrived this morning from Ica and preparing my connection to the Cotahuasi canyon by night bus, there was some time to revisit nice Arequipa.

Lunch at a known place, but this time without Annelies.
Cayma, 3km out of Arequipa's town centre.
Charming baroque church (1730).
Cayma square, the "balcony" of Arequipa,
overlooking the city and the volcano 'Misty' (5825m).
Two lamas.
La Compañia Church, on a corner of the Plaza de Armas,
also built with the white lava stones.
Plaza de Armas, all constructions are made with the white lava stone.
The town is already decorated for the national Independence day.
